The Union of Municipalities of the Fasanella Valley is born

Aquara, Bellosguardo, Corleto Monforte, Ottati and Sant’Angelo a Fasanella they networked to form theUnion of Municipalities of the Fasanella Valley. The aim is to create an organism capable of strengthening the role of the Unions of Municipalities in the associated management of services, but with fewer entities so that the objectives and needs of each entity can be more easily reconciled in a cooperative perspective.

The first meeting between the directors was held at the Municipality of Aquara led by the mayor Anthony Marino which emphasizes: “The five founding Municipalities are close to each other and for this reason we believe that the Union of Municipalities of the Fasanella Valley, also because with a reduced number of entities, can better respond to the needs of the respective communities of Bellosguardo, Corleto Monforte, Ottati, Sant’Angelo a Fasanella and Aquara. We of Aquara had joined theUnion of Alto Calore Municipalities which includes 15 communities located in areas that are often different from each other. With the Union of Municipalities of the Fasanella Valley, let’s say the Alburni ones, we continue to operate with a more streamlined and efficient structure”. Marino then added: “A great and beautiful challenge begins for our territory: pursuing the path of cooperation, we set ourselves the objective of reducing expenditure and increasing the efficiency of services, standardising them.”.
