The uniformed are in shock! An MP from Kyiv was caught in Burgas, who …

The Burgas District Prosecutor’s Office and the Interior Ministry are investigating a case in which a man posing as a member of the Ukrainian parliament was arrested in mid-April as involved in trafficking in illegal migrants near the Burgas village of Indje Voivoda.

The case dates back to mid-April, when two men were detained during a police operation near the village of Indje Voivoda.

They were Ukrainian citizens, but they drove jeeps with Bulgarian registration.

During the talks, one of them explained that he is a member of the Ukrainian parliament, BNR reports, citing sources in the services.

The case is being investigated by 2 institutions in our country – the Ministry of Interior and the District Prosecutor’s Office – Burgas.

The maritime district prosecutor’s office explained that they are currently investigating whether the man was in fact a member of parliament in Kyiv.

An inquiry was also sent to the Ukrainian embassy in the case.

Today, Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov also explained that the case is being investigated. More information will be provided after its completion.
