This break in relations was unexpected both for royal fans and for Kate herself. And this happened on New Year’s Eve, which Prince William refused to spend with the Middleton family.
That day, Katherine was in the office when her cell phone rang. As some of her former colleagues recall, Katherine went outside to talk, writes express. She walked around the parking lot and it was clear that their conversation was not pleasant.
“It was clear it was William and it was definitely a spat. Some people noticed it because it was quite an unusual thing to do. She deliberately went outside to answer the phone because she didn’t want to be overheard. Kate walked back and forth forward and looked upset, as if she had been arguing. But she didn’t cry,” said one of the princess’s former colleagues.
When she returned to the office, she said nothing and disappeared for the rest of the day. Very royal – never complain, never explain anything.
“We didn’t think anything of it at the time. But looking back, the call was definitely a spat between a girl and a guy,” the eyewitness adds.
