Alexander Abdulov to this day remains the favorite actor of Russians, although he has long been gone from the world. He built a dizzying film career that everyone would envy. But few people know that the future idol began his life path with one unpleasant event that he did not like to talk about.
Abdulov was the third son in the family of Lyudmila Alexandrovna and Gavriil Danilovich. Throughout the pregnancy, the woman was sure that she would have a long-awaited girl. Lyudmila Aleksandrovna even stocked up on a “dowry” in the form of diapers and pink undershirts. Her disappointment knew no bounds when the doctor announced the birth of a boy.
Ironically, a neighbor in the ward dreamed of a son, but gave birth to a daughter – the third in a row. The woman was worried that her husband would not let her on the threshold with another girl, and invited Abdulov’s mother to exchange children.
Lyudmila Alexandrovna thought about it and already agreed, but her husband said a firm no. So the newborn Alexander stayed with his natural mother. It is surprising that this story happened to Soviet women who were famous for their correctness. And after all, this cynical exchange would have taken place if Abdulov’s father had not intervened.
