And in his free time, Tsiskaridze is not engaged in the most masculine hobby. He does not hesitate to say in an interview that he is passionate about knitting. The fact is that when the future dancer was still very young, there were many similar products in his house. The nanny, who worked in the family, sewed and knitted a lot.
Therefore, all pillows were decorated with decorative elements, and knitted napkins were kept on chests of drawers and vases. As Tsiskaridze explained, his mother called all these things philistinism, but he could not take his eyes off them and dreamed of mastering this skill.
“I watched for many years, and then the nanny taught me,” he recalled.
Since then, embroidery for the ballet premiere has a meditative character. Behind a needle or knitting needles, he finds peace. And the resulting things Tsiskaridze gladly gives away to friends.
