The climate crisis caused by human activity has opened the “gates of hell”, the UN Secretary General warned this Wednesday at the opening of the Climate Ambition Summit, in which he warned that if there are no changes we are heading towards ” dangerous and unstable world.
Droughts, floods, suffocating temperatures, historic fires, “humanity has opened the gates of hell”, as “the horrible effects of the horrible heat” have demonstrated, said Antonio Guterres in a meeting in which neither China nor the United States are present, the two most polluting countries on the planet.
