The UMH and five companies sign an agreement for the creation of the Chair of Human Resources and Health | Radio Elche | Present

The Miguel Hernández University of Elche has created the Chair of Human Resources and Health together with companies Auxiliary Conservera, Boss Digital Group, Clavei Consulting and Technological Services, Marjal Foundation of the Valencian Community and Sanitas Sociedad Anónima de Seguros. The launch of this Chair was made possible after the signing of an agreement, signed this morning by the rector of the UMH, Juan José Ruiz, and representatives of the participating companies.

The general objectives of this new Chair are training, research, development and knowledge transfer in the field of people management and occupational health in organizations. All of this through conducting training, research and organization of seminars, conferences or other outreach activities.

The director of the Chair, the professor of Department of Behavioral Sciences and Health of the UMH, Ángel Solanes, has pointed out that what they are looking for is improve workers’ conditions within organizations and promote well-being of them in an area as important as work. Solanes has ensured that, since most spend more time at work than at home, it is essential that this time frame be developed in the best possible way.

Specifically, the agreement has been signed, in addition to the rector of the UMH, by Josefa Jiménez and Paola Giménez, representing Auxiliar Conservera, by Guzmán Martínez Griñán and Cristina Mulero, from Brandty, by Vicente Ballester and Isabel Bonmatí, from Clavei Consulting and Technological Services, by Marina Salar, from Grupo Marjal and Álvaro Bernabéu, from Sanitas.
