The NBA is approaching one of the moments of the season: the All-Star. On February 18, the top basketball stars will compete in the 73rd edition of an event with a lot of renown in North American basketball.
The date is already known, but it still remains to be discovered who will be the protagonists who will measure their faces in the Bankers Life Fieldhouse of Indianapolis and that they will be seen in more than 200 countries in 50 different languages.
As on other occasions, those in charge of choosing the All-Star players will be the audience, whose votes will be worth 50% in the election, the players themselves and the media, in both cases with 25%. This process will only be used to select starting players. It will be the Franchise coaches who decide the substitutes for each of the two teams.

Voting for the 2024 NBA All-Star began on Tuesday, December 19 in the afternoon of USA, at 7 pm Eastern time. So the first European voters must have had to wait until this past morning to vote. From its beginning, these votes will be extended until Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (5:59 a.m. on January 21 in Spain).
During this one-month period, all fans will be able to participate and vote once a day for the starters of the NBA All-Star Game in the NBA app or on NBA.com. This year, the NBA is including a new feature called “3 for 1 Days.” On these specific days, which will be six in total, each vote will count for three. The premiere of this format will take place on Christmas Day. Additional 3 for 1 days will be available on Monday, January 1, Friday, January 5, Friday, January 12, Monday, January 15, and Friday, January 19. In this way, fans are encouraged to vote on those “key” days.

Popular vote updates will be shared each week of January: the 4th, 11th and 18th. TNT will reveal the NBA All-Star Game starters on Thursday, January 25, while the alternates will be announced on Thursday, February 1 during the TNT NBA Tip-Off.
