“The Ukrainian President and People Honored with Charlemagne Prize in Aachen”

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj and the Ukrainian people are honored with the Charlemagne Prize in Aachen City Hall.

The prize is awarded to personalities or institutions who have rendered outstanding services to Europe and European unification. Traditionally, the Charlemagne Prize ceremony actually takes place on the holiday of Ascension Day (May 18). However, this was not possible due to scheduling conflicts.
