Anastasia Tsimbalaru explained how it happened that the series with her participation was released on RosTV.
Famous Ukrainian actress Anastasia Tsimbalaru was stunned by the recognition that a series with her participation was released on Russian TV.
The artist does not hide the fact that, like most Ukrainian actors, before the outbreak of a full-scale war, she participated in Ukrainian-Russian projects. Tsimbalaru starred in one of them a year before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“Last fall, a Ukrainian-Russian project was released on one of the Russian channels. I was considered a Bandera, a Nazi, and Russian subscribers wrote to me about all this. They are releasing a series with me in the lead role, there is a close-up of my face on the poster,” – told Tsimbalar in an interview with Alina Dorotiuk.
The actress did not say the name of the series because she does not want to advertise it and does not want fans to look at “Russian faces.” Tsimbalaru admitted that her fans thought that she starred in a Russian series during a full-scale war, because the release year was indicated as 2023:
“I saw messages from my subscribers that they had watched it, it was in Russian. And, of course, they started writing to me. And the year of release was 2023. That is, this was already during the time of a full-scale invasion. Subscribers began writing to me: “Nastya, are you really started filming with Russian actors?” I had to explain that this was a year before the full-scale invasion, but, nevertheless, this project was shown there,” the actress commented.
Let us remind you that, meanwhile, the Russian occupiers brazenly used the face of a Ukrainian singer FINKA. On the territory of occupied Melitopol, posters appeared with the image of the artist and a call to change Ukrainian surnames to Russian ones. The singer has already responded to the cynical act of the Russians.
