Mistake British Minister of the Interior This does not cause casualties, nor does it result in state losses. The only violation he committed was using the wrong email. However, she dared resign from his post. This is his resignation letter.
The British interior minister was named Suella Braverman. She tweeted her resignation letter via her Twitter account, accessible from detikcom on Thursday (10/20/2022).

Prime Minister

To the Prime Minister
It is with great regret that I present my resignation letter.
Yesterday I sent an official document from my personal email to a trusted parliamentary partner as part of a political engagement and with the intention of garnering support for government policies on migration issues. This causes a violation of the technical rules. As you know, the document is a draft of the Ministry’s written declaration on migration, as it must be published immediately. Most were discussed with board members. However, it was the right decision for me to resign.
As soon as I realized my mistake, I immediately reported the matter to the official channels and informed the Cabinet Secretary. As interior minister, I strive to maintain the highest standards and my resignation has been a good thing for me. Government management depends on people being held accountable for their mistakes. Pretending we have done nothing wrong, continuing our work as if no one had seen us make mistakes and hoping that everything would miraculously work out for good, is not serious politics. I was wrong; I accept the responsibility; I quit.

Of course we are still going through chaotic times. I have concerns about the direction of this government. Not only have we broken the oath we promised our constituents, but I have serious concerns about the government’s commitment to honor program commitments, such as reducing overall migration rates and stopping illegal migration, particularly from dangerous boat crossings.
It is a great honor for me to serve in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Even in my short time in the ministry, it is clear that there is a lot to be done to address the priorities of the British people. They deserve good policies, immigration policies that they want and vote for us with clear numbers in yesterday’s elections and laws that serve the public interest and not in the selfish interest of the protesters.
I am very grateful to all my employees, special advisors and the ministry team for all their assistance during my tenure as interior minister. In particular, I would like to extend my respect to the heroic police and the policewomen and to all those who work in the border forces and in the garrison of our security. Overseeing Operation Bridge, the largest operation in a generation, is an honor and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve.
I wish my successor success,
Sincerely,
Rt Hon Suella Braverman KC MP
