Britain on Tuesday imposed new sanctions on Russia and Iran over their “desperate alliance”, accusing both countries of Russian attacks on critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
according to announcement Officially, the UK has announced a new package of 16 sanctions against “senior Russian commanders for their involvement in the Russian military and Iranian businessmen and officials involved in the production or supply of drones to the Kremlin”.
They are said to include 12 senior officers of the Russian military, as well as Iranian nationals who “facilitate the production of drones” that the West accuses may have been used by Moscow in Ukraine.
