The UDI launches into the municipal race with a training marathon

The race started for municipal elections in the UDI. This Saturday, with a marathon day via Zoom, between 10:00 and 18:00, a training about 400 interested in running for the April elections.

The participants were taught fundamental aspects to carry out a campaign, related to the municipal world, the electoral law, financing, the management of communications and social networks, the territorial deployment, values ​​and principles, among others. This dynamic will be repeated on Thursdays and Saturdays to come, although at shorter times.

Among the exhibitors were the general secretary of the party, Felipe Salaberry; the executive director of Libertad y Desarrollo, Marcela Cubillos; and the president of the community, Jacqueline van Rysselberghe. The latter explained the reason for the activity.

“During the next year and a half we have a very tight electoral calendar and with great challenges for the UDI. That is why we have decided to start working on time and in a planned manner in the search and training of candidates,” said the head of the Democratic Union Independent. “In this case, it is a workshop regarding municipalities, an election that will be fundamental considering the presidential and parliamentary elections that will be held at the end of 2021, and where we want to achieve a good result in the field of local governments,.
