(DNA). – The Basic Unit of San Antonio expressed its support for a provincial project with strong Justicialista roots and expressed its opposition to an agreement with “the current ruling force in Río Negro and at the antipodes of any proposal with neoliberal features.”
In a meeting held yesterday and chaired by its general secretary Mario Schachtel, it was resolved to work on the formation of a local project with their own candidates for mayor, the Deliberative Council and the Court of Accounts, seeking agreements with progressive forces opposed to the municipal government and concluded that “the decision to approach the government party is due to strictly personal reasons and does not represent the sentiment of local Peronism.”
In turn, the San Antonio Peronism highlighted that “it hopes that the provincial Peronist leadership can offer a strong and united alternative to the offers of the provincial government and the conservative right,” in addition to firm support for the national government and its policies of inclusion and Social justice.
