The UAE national bodybuilding team was ranked fourth at the conclusion of the World Championships, which took place in Barcelona, ​​Spain, with the participation of 46 countries, and organized by the International Game Federation, after winning two golds and three bronzes.

Iran came in first, followed by South Korea and Ukraine.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, chairman of the board of directors of the Emirati Body Building Federation, appreciated the performance of the players during the competitions and their fourth place in the league.

In UAE team results details, player Khaled Mohammed Al-Naqbi won first gold in the men’s class of 182cm, and Khaled Bakheet Al Falasi won the second gold medal in the masters category for age 40- 44 years old, weighing 80 kg.

The bronze medal was also won by Rashid Mohammed Al Balushi in Physique for a height of 173 cm, Khaled Jamal Al Balushi in Physique for a height of 179 cm and Khalifa Burman Al Hammoudi in classic bodybuilding 180 cm.

Five players finished fourth in the competitions: Ayoub Arzouki Al-Ammar, Ahmed Abdullah Al-Hammadi, Adnan Al-Tunaji, Ammar Al-Khansouri and Abdullah Al-Khatal, while two players finished fifth: Hamad Obaid Al-Alili and Nasser Sweid Al-Wahshi.

Mohammed Eid Abdul Rahim Al Marri, Secretary General of the Emirates Body Building Federation, confirmed that the competition was very strong among all the participating players and that the fourth place of the team is a good start to get more results in the next period.

National team coach Zuwaid Salmeen Al Zaabi said the team’s results were positive and record compared to the strength of the tournament’s competitions.
