The director of the company “Ornina” for organizing parties and events, Zubaida Mazouq, confirmed that the work in the field of event organization is still below expectations, after the recovery period from the Corona pandemic, which it has strongly affected all working areas of the world.
Zubaida said in exclusive statements: “We have not returned to what we were before the Corona pandemic, especially in the field of prices, as people have become accustomed to being few during the pandemic period.. Now it is very difficult to bring them back to that what the prices were.
He added: “We had to lay off almost half of the workers during the pandemic, we closed the company and stopped working for 8 months. The companies we deal with have also suffered from this, because the number of attendance has become low, the pandemic has affected many activities, companies and events.
Regarding his latest activities, Zubaida indicated that he has organized many Emirati weddings, official government events and exhibitions in the previous period.
He continued: “I also work in public relations, as I recently completed two clips, one of which was with producer Mohamed El Sobky, and I was responsible for everything in the clip, and I also finished a clip with another artist who hasn’t posted yet.
He added: “Our company is 20 years old and we work in the field of organizing venue openings and relationships with artists, and a large number of them constantly communicate with me.”
Regarding the new company in the coming period, he said, “We now have the UAE National Day where we are currently working with the Passport and Nationality Department and decorate the government departments. We also have a party to launch a song for one of the artists , and after a while we have an exhibition in Abu Dhabi”.
On the other hand, Zubaida confirmed that the obstacles they encounter in the field of organization are simple, in particular the lack of coordination or the delay in appointments.
He explained: “It is very important to have agreements between us and the client, because coordination removes all obstacles, the most important of which is the delay in time on the part of the client.”
Additionally, Zubaida confirmed that her two areas of work, public relations and event planning, complement each other, noting that her work in event planning has opened up horizons for her to expand her work across the organizing clips.
He also spoke about working in the UAE, saying, “There are many facilities in the UAE. Our company is 20 years old and we have worked with the public and private sector. Praise God, the company name is big and old, so we have a lot of facilities.”
He added, “The UAE is a country that has everything and all elements of labor are there, so the facilities are there and there are no obstacles, especially in the field of movement and movement.”
Zubaida concluded by providing tips for those who want to organize small parties, especially choosing the right time, joint collaboration, proper organization and choosing the appropriate design for the venue.
