OL’s U12s are competing for two days in the Coal Cup, organized by FC Roche-Saint-Genest, which brings together major European teams.
It may come as a surprise, but it is during a local tournament organized by the FC Roche-Saint-Genestnear Saint-Etienne, that the U12s ofOL faced the Benfica Lisbon (1-0 defeat) and the Bayern Munich (1-0 win). This competition, which will last until Saturday, is called the Coal Cup, and has the particularity of bringing together several major French and European teams. So theABOUTle PSGl’ASSEOGC Nice, FC Nantes, Girondins de Bordeaux and LOSC are part of it, but also Manchester Unitedthe Juventusle FC Porto or even the Sevilla FC.
The “Coupe Charbon” was initially to be launched in 2020, but had to be postponed twice due to the health crisis linked to Covid.
