The match which was held at Zhejiang Normal University East Stadium was fierce. The Indonesian U-24 national team tried to take the initiative to attack first.

However, Chinese Taipei first spread the threat in this match through an attack from the left side, but Adi Satryo managed to thwart Chinese Taipei’s attack.

The Indonesian national team seemed to have difficulty dismantling Chinese Taipei’s tight defense. The coordination of the Indonesian National Team attackers did not appear to be optimal so that the opportunities created were easily anticipated by the opposing team.

In the 28th minute, Indonesia’s goal was almost conceded after a miscommunication occurred between Rizky Ridho and Bagas Kaffa. Chen Po Liang managed to grab the ball and fire a shot but was lucky the ball was blocked by the Indonesian defense.

Indonesia’s best chance in the first half came in the 41st minute after Ananda Raehan fired a shot using a through ball from outside the penalty box, but unfortunately his shot went straight into the goalkeeper’s arms. The score 0-0 closed the game in the first half.

The Indonesian U-24 national team started the second half quite well. However, just three minutes into the match, the Indonesian National Team conceded.

Starting from Lin Wei Chien’s movement on the left side, the striker gave a pass to Chun Wen Yan who was unmarked and the winger easily grabbed the ball and scored a goal. Chinese Taipei leads 1-0 over Indonesia.

Behind 1-0, Garuda Nusantara tried to increase the tempo of the game. Indra Sjafri’s troops launched repeated attacks on their opponent’s goal.

However, due to the lack of optimal coordination between Indonesia’s defense line and attack line, Indonesia’s attacks did not produce significant opportunities.

In the 89th minute, Egy Maulana Vikri tried to threaten the Chinese Taipei goal with his shot but Chiu Yu-Hung could still read the ball well.

In injury time, Chinese Taipei had to play with 10 players after Liang Meng-hsin received a second yellow card.

Even though they played with 10 players, Chinese Taipei was able to maintain their lead until the referee blew the whistle to signal the end of the match.
