Volán managed to equalize through Stipsicz in the second period, but then the Italians gained the upper hand again in the final period. Fehérvár tried with honor, but failed to equalize once more, so the five-game winning streak was interrupted.
– We fought hard for these three points. It’s nice to play in this hall, the fans are great, they’re loud, they create an excellent atmosphere.
