The Walking Dead, the hugely popular zombie TV series, yes will conclude with the eleventh season that will air in the United States on the AMC television network starting from the end of 2021. The final season, some newspapers write, will consist of 24 episodes.
The Walking Dead has been on the air since 2010, talks about a hypothetical world invaded by zombies and is one of the most successful television series of recent years. AMC has made it known that the episode initially intended to be the finale of the tenth season will air on October 4 (it was supposed to air in April, but post-production was not completed in time due to the pandemic). Additionally, six additional episodes considered part of Season 10 will air in early 2021.
A new project was then announced: a spin-off dedicated to Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus, and Carol Peletier, played by Melissa McBride, which shouldn’t be released until 2023. There is also a film written by Scott in the works. M. Gimple, former executive producer of the TV series, starring actor Andrew Lincoln, who left the series this season. Gimple is working on an episodic anthology series entitled Tales of the Walking Dead. These new projects join the spin-off Fear the Walking Dead, whose sixth season will start on 11 October.
