Daniel Olsson has a successful career as a coach, driver and in recent years an esteemed TV expert and commentator specializing in the French trotting competitions in Channel 75.
Now it’s over.
Olsson leaves the job on TV to instead become sales manager at Menhammar stud, writes Travronden.
“Understand how stimulating this new is”
– This was simply not possible to say no to. Look at the stallion park, check the strains of the foals, check the will to develop. This is really my half of the plan and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, says Olsson, who develops his reasoning for the trade magazine.
– Understand how stimulating this new thing is for someone like me; To get maybe five fully booked top stallions to work with next year, when Calgary Games is also with us, and to work on finding owners for 80 top bred foals. In addition, the opportunity to be able to develop the auctions of the future. Plus the investment in the competition piece, in addition to that. Nä… this is where the whole cake is really filled, says Daniel Olsson.
Olsson will start his new position on 1 February.
