The TV of the Copa América 2024: where you can watch the Argentine National Team matches :: Olé

There are less than two months left until the start of the 2024 Copa América, where the Argentine National Team will try to defend the title and obtain the two-time championship, this time, of course, in the United States. And this Wednesday there was an important announcement for all Argentines who will follow the Albiceleste from their homesbecause a new television channel confirmed that it will broadcast the Scaloneta matches in the contest.

In principle, it is worth saying that there would be three signals that will be transmitted to the Argentine National Team in the Copa América: TyC Sports, DSports (which will also televise all the rest of the matches played in the competition) and, now, Telefe.

Telefe reached an agreement with Torneos to be the on-air television station for the Argentine National Team’s matches in this Copa América and, also, in the South American Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and in the friendlies for FIFA Date.

“Telefe, the leading audience signal in Argentina, will broadcast all the matches that the Argentine Soccer Team will play throughout the year: the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024 in the United States, the qualifiers for the qualification of the next 2026 FIFA World Cup and the next friendly commitmentscoughs,” the channel published in a statement. The agreement would, momentarily, only be for this year.

Thus, the Argentine National Team will no longer be broadcast by Public Television, which televised the Albiceleste’s last two friendlies against El Salvador and Costa Rica last month.

DSports will broadcast all the Copa América matches

In addition to Telefe, as mentioned above, there is a signal that will televise not only the National Team’s matches, but also all those played in this Copa América: DSports.

“DSPORTS, DIRECTV’s exclusive sports broadcast signal and its live TV and streaming platform DGO, It will be the only one that will broadcast the CONMEBOL América 2024 Cup in full and live for Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru starting next June 20.

DIRECTV Latin America and DGO satellite TV service customers will be the only ones who will be able to live minute by minute of each of the 32 matches, starting June 20, with a broadcast carried out in the United States, the organizing country of the main official international men’s soccer tournament in South America,” they wrote from the signal also through a statement.

Finally, Telefe and DSports would also be joined, as usual, by TyC Sports, a signal that televised the draw for the Copa América, its 2021 edition and also the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, among multiple other events.
