American actor, comedian and TV host Jay Leno suffered severe facial burns after his car suddenly burst into flames, reports The Sun.
The former ‘Tonight Show’ host suffered severe burns to his face when his car suddenly caught fire for no reason.
The terrible event occurred in Jay Leno’s garage in Los Angeles.
According to media reports, one of his cars suddenly caught fire and the actor was injured in the flames. The left side of his face is hurt.
“I suffered severe burns from a petrol fire. I’m fine. It only takes a week or two to recover,” the actor told the media.
The 72-year-old TV legend is currently in hospital, in the burn ward.
Jay Leno is an avid car collector. He owns more than 100 cars and motorcycles.
