The Tuono V4X vanished in a flash: Aprilia increases production of the V4 X – News

V4, 221 hp, 166 kg and… 10 examples, which weren’t enough. Aprilia announced today that it will increase production of the Thunder V4 X, the supernaked from Noale that literally drove fans crazy.

So much so that the ten units put into production were sold in a very short time, leaving many customers who would have wanted to treat themselves to the Italian racing car.

The almost 35,000 euros (34,900 to be precise) necessary for the purchase of a motorcycle that is not homologated for the road and therefore usable only on the track did not scare most people, with the demand that was exponentially higher than the offer, to the point that the Noale company announced today an important news: Aprilia Racing, the Factory that developed and manufactures the lightest and most powerful Hypernaked models in the world, will put into production another two batches of ten pieces each, to meet at least part of the purchase requests that are arriving from all over the world.

They will therefore be 30 total pieces of this extraordinary Limited Edition. “Given the peculiarities of the Tuono V4 X, which is approved for track use only, it is an extraordinary result – commented from Noale – A result that perfectly testifies to the credit that the Italian brand enjoys among the most experienced and advanced motorcyclists”. A racing bike with high handlebars and numbers for the few, both from a performance point of view (which requires experience) and production numbers, with three dozen lucky owners who, although tripled (from 10 to 30) , however, they remain a small group of privileged people with respect to the market.

A special product then, as Aprilia itself describes its Tuono V4 X: “The engine derives from the unit that successfully equips the RSV4 1100 Factory and has been raised to the extraordinary power of 221 hp.
The Akrapovič exhaust system features titanium manifolds with a carbon terminal, while the air filter is a Sprint Filter element, the same unit used by Aprilia Racing in MotoGP. Electronic tuning is guaranteed by the control unit revised in its operating logics, equipped with engine control and vehicle dynamics maps developed by Aprilia Racing. The painting of the special dedicated Bol d’Or graphics, inspired by the Aprilia RSV 1000 R Factory which took part in the legendary endurance race in 2006, also contributes to the exclusivity of the bike, being made by Zanasi, the famous specialized body of Maranello ”.
