Hanoi (VNA) – Le Vietnam Creativity and Design Competition 2021 with the theme “A creative future” (Future to me) was launched on June 14. It aims to promote Vietnamese cultural identity and creativity.
The Vietnam 2021 Creativity and Design Competition is open to young Vietnamese between the ages of 18 and 30 who must submit their designs as an individual or group of up to three members.

During the final, which should take place on July 31, candidates will have to exhibit their creations to the jury and on August 3, the list of winners could already be published.
The organizing committee will award the first prize worth 25 million VND and three other incentive prizes of 5 million VND each.
According to Professor Julia Gaimster, Head of the Communication and Design Department at RMIT University, the competition aims to uncover innovative designs to promote Vietnam’s identity and culture that can be easily adapted to various platforms or media. media.
“The creative and cultural industry plays a key role in Vietnam’s socio-economic development. In order to make Vietnam competitive on the international stage, the country must reveal and showcase its young creative talents.”, she added.
The competition organized by RMIT University in partnership with the National Institute of Cultural and Artistic Studies of Vietnam (Vietnam National Institute for Culture and Arts Studies – VICAS), the United Nations Scientific, Educational and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and COLAB Vietnam within the framework of the 3e Vietnam Creativity and Design Festival runs from June 14 to August 3.
