The Cupra Formentor VZ5 was introduced last year in a limited series of 7,000 units. Even without modifications, it is the strongest model from the Spanish carmaker, but the race management is demanding, and therefore had the car modified by ABT.
–
After modification, the car delivers 444 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque through a five-cylinder Audi from 2.5 liters. The original values are 390 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque.
–
ABT, in collaboration with Cupra, claims that the modified Formentor can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 270 km / h.
–
In terms of appearance, the car was given matte paint, black-copper wheels, several stickers with the DTM logo, and most importantly – a light ramp on the roof. In the rear there are four vertically placed exhausts.
–
In cooperation with the DMT Cupra, it will provide two boot cars, as well as two control race cars, a medical car and a lead car. In total, 6 vehicles will be presented on the circuits.
