Dancing with the stars – the newest, already 17th season of the competition starts today. First, there will be an opening episode with a peek behind the scenes. The first live broadcast will be seen in a week, when the Swedish pop and reality star Benjamin Ingrosso will arrive in the studio.
Before that, however, the domestic stars who are learning to dance will introduce themselves. So does journalist and director Susani Mahadura. She says she loves to dance, but definitely without rules. There are plenty of them at TTK.
– I love to dance in the morning naked in front of the mirror and listen to my favorite songs. But as soon as the rules are put on me, I go to tilt. It’s a good question, how my little rebellious spirit against the rules works here.

Despite everything, Susani decided to join the program when she was asked to do so.
– I want to go towards shame and the fear of failure, Susani says on TV and reminds us that life is not that serious.

In the competition studio, Susan is encouraged by her own mother every other week. This is how she makes up for all the lost years when she didn’t get to see her child’s ballet spring and Christmas performances. The reason is very simple: despite her mother’s wish, Susani changed ballet to judo.
– As a child, I disappointed my mother that I didn’t want to dance, even though she really wanted to. When mom heard about TTK, she said “of course you’re going!”
Susani promised to go if the mother comes to every single broadcast to see her daughter.
– We made a deal. Above all, I dance for my mother, Susani says in the opening episode.
Susan’s dance teacher is Mikko Matikka, who is a first-timer. MTV3
