In this list of 300 names, 44 people are from the personal and company accounts of DPS, 84 are from GERB and 18 – from BSP. This was stated by Vera Akhundova from the Association of Small Deposits in KTB “We Citizens”.
“The published lists of depositors of KTB categorically distract attention from the specific division of clients in the bank and the presence of a list of clients who are political figures,” said Vera Akhundova from “We the Citizens” in the program “Na svetlo” on Nova TV.
“The list of political figures includes about 300 people. If you go to open a deposit account in any bank, you give your identity card. Since an employee of the bank would not be able to recognize from this data who is an MP and his related relatives, it is a matter of explicitly declared information,” explained Akhundova.
She stated that the association has mobilized its experts throughout the banking system. A list has been prepared which will be provided to the European Commission very soon.
From the DPS, 11 deputies from the 42nd and 43rd National Assembly have accounts. The availability of them at the moment is about 6 million. As from six and seven digit accounts, they later became about BGN 500 thousand each, said Akhundova. Everything was taken out absolutely in time before the bank declared bankruptcy, she added. There are about five people who made a mistake and left BGN 1 million in their accounts.
There are currently two accounts in the name of the vice president’s daughter Margarita Popova.
10 mayors and municipal councilors and two members of the SJC from the DPS quota also have accounts. 8 deputy ministers and 6 ministers from GERB, some of whom are also current, have accounts in KTB.
There are 19 accounts related to companies with the actual owner – Irena Krasteva. They were seven digits, now there are residual amounts in them. A large part of the accounts that were closed before the bankruptcy are no longer configured in the lists, but only those accounts in which there is some money left, said Akhundova.
“I absolutely agree with Borisov’s proposal that everything should be declassified. We expect an analysis of the archives until 2013 to see the activity before the bankruptcy of the bank,” said Akhundova. According to her, the scenario with the bankruptcy of KTB dates back to the end of 2013.
“About BGN 500 million were withdrawn only during Oresharski’s mandate. Not a single lev was repaid from these credits. They were converted into cessions. It is possible that we will decide to cancel absolutely all cessions, since a process of secondary robbery. None of the assignees has fulfilled their obligations with a lev until now,” said Akhundova.
“For now, there are indirect threats against me. My phone is working in a weird mode. It goes silent, the conversation breaks when certain names are mentioned,” said Akhundova.
“An international detective organization will only mislead. An international audit by an independent organization is needed,” Akhundova concluded.
