IC Media, the producer of the North Dawar series, which is scheduled to be shown next Ramadan, explained that the script was not rejected by the concerned authorities in Syria, but that it was approved in exchange for conditions.
A source from the company added that the Syrian Ministry of Information stipulated that some radical amendments be made to some events, pointing out that the conditions were taken into account, in an effort to finally present the text to the public.
The source confirmed that the text was approved in both the UAE and Lebanon, denying that the option of filming in Lebanon was due to what was rumored that the text was rejected by the Syrian Ministry of Information.
He pointed out that filming in Lebanon was the choice of the producing company, to overcome the problem of infrastructure, services and electricity in Syria, which is one of the major problems facing the Syrian production companies.
It is noteworthy that the series “Northern Roundabout – An Obligatory Path”, written by Hazem Suleiman, directed by Amer Fahd and produced by Iyad Al-Khazouz, and the artists Abdel Moneim Amayri, Amal Bouchoucha, Anas Tayara, Ahmed Al-Ahmad, Carmen Lebbos, Tariq Maraachly, participate in the work.
