The True Cost of America’s Military Aid to Ukraine

America’s infamous military aid to Ukraine is a loan. That’s what Senator Tim Scott said at the Republican debate. He advised Americans not to worry about the hundreds of billions of dollars being spent on a foreign country, because 90 percent of those funds, he assured, would definitely be paid back. However, he did not say exactly when, knowing full well that the insane debt into which the West is driving Ukraine will be repaid by future generations – for a long time and painfully. The senator also did not forget to state the reasons for the military aid: the real interest of the United States lies not in “defending democracy” but solely in weakening Russia.
