«Exit» sesong to got a great opening last weekend, and garnered as many as 699,000 viewers in a few days. Only Herman Flesvig’s “First Time Service” can boast more viewers in such a short time.
When the first season came in 2019, the stories and characters in the series attracted attention, and the second season is no exception.
Drug use and prostitution in particular have been shocking topics. When the actors are in the roles, however, it is not cocaine and semen that float on real.
Pål Sverre Hagen (40), who plays William in the series, has told See and Hear that theyten reality is a fructose mixture which pops up in the nose when sniffing in front of the cameras. Combined with frequent corona testing, it was therefore a strain.
– It is important to change the nostril when testing, and remember which one you took the day before. In addition, there is a lot of sniffing of the fructose mixture, so then you have a double load daily. The sinuses get run over!

NRK has also published one bakom film, where you get an insight into what is happening in reality. Among other things, it appears that the alcohol is in fact water with sugar color or juice with color.
The series is also characterized by expensive cars at high speeds. Swedish Simon J. Berger (41) did not have a driver’s license during the first season, and therefore it was most often an opponent Agnes Kittelsen (40) which appeared in front of the steering wheel then.
However, he can reveal to See and Hear that he can make a legal car since then.
– I took the note between the seasons. It was delicious, he says happily.
When he sits behind the wheel of “Exit”, however, it is not the case that he actually has his foot on the accelerator pedal.
– For the most part, you do not drive on film, even if you have a driver’s license, for safety reasons. It gets both weird and a little dangerous when you play a fictional situation while driving in real traffic. That is why the car is often driven on a trailer when filming driving, when it is more than just driving to stop, or getting into the car and driving off, he explains.
In the behind-the-scenes film for NRK, you can also see how the masquerade party is recorded, and especially the scene of violence when Tobias Santelmann has to hit someone else’s head on the table. Here, the taking has been taken several times, both with and without fake blood, also a “fake” table has been used that gives quickly.
Drilling and protection
“Exit” is also no stranger to violence, and especially Jon Øigarden has had to roll up his sleeves during the season. He has told See and Hear that there is a lot of technology behind the scenes of violence. Quite early in the season, he takes his wife in being unfaithful – something that goes hard on the other guy.
– It was a technical challenge, it was a rather cramped room. He has a plate on his back so he will not injure himself. The billiard queue is made of quite a hard queue. What we did was drill a lot of holes in the middle, so it would crack as fast as possible, so it would not hurt. It was technical stuff. It should go fast and look raw, but it was very step by step and go calmly, he explains.

In the first season, there was also a lot of attention paid to nudity in the series. Genitals are not real either, something Tobias Santelmann could tell at the time.
– It is attached with the help of two people. You have to put your own snippet into it, then it is glued on, they also stand there and blow dry and glue and hold on for a quarter of an hour. Then you can not pee as long as it is on. Also, you just walk around with it, he has explained to See and Hear.
As mentioned, there have also been additional precautions associated with the corona pandemic. In addition to a lot of testing and other measures to prevent infection, the intimate scenes have also become a challenge. Here, the production has aimed to avoid as much contact as possible.
–
Director and screenwriter Øystein Karlsen could tell the press about a very special initiative during the filming.
– I think Tobias Santelmann is the only one who has completed a sex scene with a record from the Tourist Association, lost in front of the crotch to avoid contact, he could reveal.
The plate was a green sleeping pad that could be used around a greenscreen – which made it easy to edit into the rock.
