Kojima’s tactics are used by the US military. Metal Gear Solid’s box trick really helped fool a military robot
Noticed on social media on a fragment of a book, which mentions the tactics by which the US military outmaneuvered artificial intelligence. A trace of Metal Gear Solid is visible.
The military had to quietly get to the target, avoiding detection by the machine (AI). A couple of military men used a large cardboard box. They hid in it and began to move gradually. The task was successfully completed – people detection sensors did not notice the tricksters.
Colleagues were also creative. For example, one took branches and moved, pretending to be a tree, and someone used abrupt movements, somersaults, to outwit the system.
Previously, the military simply walked in the tracking area in order to accumulate data to improve AI algorithms, i.e. for non-standard tricks that a sentry-man would immediately see through, AI was not particularly ready. It is not known whether it was possible in the end to decide “torobochny problem» recognition of saboteurs with the development of technology.
