Nikki remembers how her water broke around midnight and her husband woke up, started running around the room, jumping up like a cartoon character, saying out loud that his water broke. The young mother had never seen anything like that.
The midwives have told her to prepare for the birth, as she won’t have to wait long until the contractions start. Ian had to watch the process while the midwives arrived. With pride, Reed states that her husband has received and coped with the preparations perfectly.
The 35-year-old actress is impressed with the support provided by the midwives, who gave her extra strength during the birth, holding her when needed and letting go when they knew they needed to.
