The star wasn’t always a news anchor.
Ekaterina Andreeva is known for her rugged appearance. For many years she has been hosting a news program on television, talking about the most high-profile events in the country and the world. But few people know that before her popularity, the journalist looked completely different.
At the very beginning of her career, she tried herself as an actress. For example, the celebrity starred in the historical drama “Beast of Hell.” There she played a lady from high society, who is connected with the main character by a long-standing tender feeling.
In a still from the film, it is difficult to recognize the well-known TV personality. At that time she had soft features and still a warm look. The photo is also unique in that it shows the star in a completely unusual image for Russians. Instead of a strict black and white suit, she is wearing a soft pink dress. Today she doesn’t wear anything even close to that.
Despite her photogenic personality, Ekaterina Andreeva never became an actress, preferring journalism. In her own words, she never had any interest in acting. And she agreed to the roles only because of the directors’ persistence.
