Presenter Nora Gharib (30) was the first to be murdered by the traitors on Sunday. “I already thought so,” she said when presenter Staf Coppens (42) told her the bad news. “I am far too active as an ally and of course the traitors do not want that. Maybe I was on to someone or one of the traitors had the feeling that I was on to him/her? Don’t know. Since yesterday I have been thinking about Klaasje, Walter and Hans or Jelle. I didn’t get a chance to take them out and I think they know that in two days I might know with more certainty.”

Traitor Walter De Donder (62) opted for a change of tactics on Sunday evening. He decided to blend in more with the group to seem less suspicious. However, this sudden turnaround had an adverse effect and was not without consequences at the Round Table. “I have noticed that there is someone who seems to be searching very little,” was the argument of political scientist Hendrik Vos. “Walter walks, drinks a beer, reads, is very present and listens a lot, but Walter does not join in the conversations. Someone who is a leprechaun at one moment and a mayor at the next, can also be a traitor.” Walter’s defense was to no avail. With ten votes he was banished from the castle. The round table erupted into cheers now that the first traitor had been eliminated.

“Dear colleagues. I found it very pleasant here. I met very interesting people, I witnessed an exciting game. I was happy to be one of your traitors,” he said when Walter revealed his real identity. “Someone who plays a match naturally wants to win it. I didn’t win them, so that’s a shame. I’m a little disappointed, but it’s a game.”

With the banishment of the first traitor, the fence is completely open. Due to an inattention on Klaasje’s part, poker player Charlotte Van Brabander immediately labeled her as the new main suspect at the round table. “Charlotte is really a cannon, unbelievable,” said traitor Bart Appeltans. Exciting times are coming for the traitors. They could choose to commit another murder or… try to entice someone from the allies to become a traitor too. Klaasje and Bart opted for the latter and focused on two potential new traitors: will they seduce Guy or Charlotte? And will he or she accept the invitation as an ally, or will the traitors still have to commit murder in the castle?
