The trailer of Srinivasan’s first film Kurukan is out after getting cured. The makers of the trailer have hinted that it is a comedy film. The film will hit theaters on July 27. The first look and second look of the film were released earlier. Srinivasan, Vineeth Srinivasan and Shine Tom Chacko, who play the lead characters, were present in both the posters.

Newcomer Jayalal Divakaran is the director of the film. The film is produced by Maba Zubair under the banner of Maha Zubair Varnachitra. It is clear from the poster itself that the film will be a comedy entertainer. The screenplay is written by Manoj Ramsingh. Manoj Ramsingh is the author of Minnamingung which won Surabhi Lakshmi the National Award. Cinematography is done by Jibu Jacob. Editor: Ranjan Abraham. Manu Manjith’s lyrics are composed by Unni Ilayaraja.

After the 2018 release of Aravindan’s Guest, Kurukan also has the distinction of being Srinivasan and Vineeth Srinivasan’s film together. Kurukani also stars Shruti Jayan, Sudhir Karamana, Malavika Menon, Ansiba Hassan, Gauri Nanda, Srikanth Murali, Aswat Lal, Joji, John, Balaji Sharma, Krishnan Balakrishnan, Aziz Nedumangad Nandan and Unni Anjali Satyanath in the lead roles.
Abin Edavanakkad is the production executive of the film. Production Controller Shemij Koilandi. Cost and Design – Sujith Mattannur. Art Direction – Joseph Nellikal, Makeup. Shaji Pulpalli, Chief Associate Director – Aneev Sukumar, PRO Vazhoor Jose and Photographer Premlal Patazhi are the other team members of Kurukan.
