Perhaps at every event where video games are announced or trailers for titles we already know about, two words are most often mentioned in the chat: Elden Ring. One of the most anticipated games of today. After all, it’s no wonder that the developers are working on experienced developers from From Software, who have hits like Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne or Sekiro. Even the famous writer George RR Martin, known mainly for his book series The Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones), is involved in the development. Unfortunately, we haven’t learned too much new information since the initial announcement at E3 2019.
However, that changed today, when the magazine came up with a surprising news VGC. According to his information, a new trailer for this game is now circulating on the Internet, but they cannot show it to us. According to the VGC, the footage from the game shows a traditional close combat, which we can already know from previous souls-like games. There are also fights with bosses. First with a dragon that spits fire, and then with a huge enemy that uses a sword. The trailer is also to show a duel on horseback in a large, open world.
Here are the leaks so far:
VGC editors saw only the part of the trailer in which the release date is not mentioned. However, according to them, the development was greatly complicated by a pandemic and the game has been postponed internally several times. It is reportedly very unlikely that Elden Ring will be released this year.
Theoretically, however, we could look forward to the official release of the trailer in the near future. Journalist Jeff Grubb recently v podcastu he said that according to his information, the game should soon be introduced in more detail. The head of Xbox marketing though deniedthat the Elden Ring should appear at a speculated Microsoft event this month, but perhaps the game could be shown by the publisher himself, Bandai Namco. It registered the trademark “Bandai Namco Next”, which could be an online presentation made by other large gaming companies.
