The main character of the film takes the blame for a fatal accident caused by his wife. After a while, people learned that the prototypes of the characters were Mikael Tariverdiev and Lyudmila Maksakova.
The composer and actress were involved in a car accident in which a man died who suddenly jumped onto the road. The musician blamed himself, although, as legend has it, the actress was driving.
