Dreams that came true turned into a real tragedy.
Valentina Leontieva is a famous Soviet TV presenter and a woman with a very difficult fate. The one who had all her dreams come true turned out to be very unhappy in her personal life and died almost completely alone. At the end of her life, even her only beloved son did not want to come to her. How did it happen that Aunt Valya, the favorite of thousands of Soviet children, was never able to become a mother to her own son?
Valentina Mikhailovna was born in Petrograd in 1923 in a family that had nothing to do with art. But at the same time, she turned out to be a very creative person, and this will subsequently affect her whole life. At first, dreaming of a career in art, Leontieva nevertheless entered the Chemical Technology Institute. But very soon she realized that she had made a mistake, and went to study at the opera and drama university, after which she began working in the theater.
But the acting career did not give Leontieva complete satisfaction, and she went to television.
It was then that she became truly happy and even said that she was in a real fairy tale. However, it soon became clear that this tale has a dark side. Because of the incredible workaholism, one after another, the leading marriages collapsed. And even the birth of a son did not stop her. She gives the child to be raised by her grandmother and again goes to work with her head.
Of course, this has an extremely negative effect on her relationship with her only offspring. They move away, but Leontieva seemed to be so happy in her profession that she did not notice anything. However, the career ended with the collapse of the Union, and Valentina Mikhailovna received a severe fracture. She ended her days in the village, and next to her, except for her sister, there was absolutely no one.
