The story of the young actor ended sadly.
Vladimir Semenov played in Yevgeny Karelov’s film “Nakhalenok” when he was only six years old. The director saw the boy on the street: he looked at the funeral procession and wept bitterly. It turned out that they were burying a person who was completely unfamiliar to the child, but he empathized with someone else’s grief so much that he could not hold back his tears.
Just as sincerely, the boy cried on the set of Nakhalenka. Karelov appreciated the talent of the kid and shot him in several more films, but after the death of the director, Vladimir’s film career ended. The boy grew up, and other directors did not see that gift in him.
After school, the guy did not go to VGIK, but to an ordinary vocational school, then got a job as a driver. Gradually, the former actor began to abuse alcohol. His wife and young daughter left him. Left alone, Semyonov lost interest in life. Over the years, he lost his home and died alone. At 48, he died of a stroke.
