The role of Milochka from the movie hit “Hotels are provided for the lonely” glorified Vera Trofimova throughout the Union. A charming actress could have built an amazing career, but this did not happen. This was due to a tragic incident.
On that fateful day, Trofimova was driving a taxi. The winter road was slippery and the driver lost control. There was an accident, as a result of which the taxi driver died, and Vera received serious injuries. She suffered a cerebral hemorrhage which caused amnesia. The actress could not move, stopped recognizing relatives and friends.
A long rehabilitation course helped Trofimova recover. She returned to acting, despite the fact that the doctors’ prognosis was disappointing. Vera continued to serve in the theater, but she stopped acting in films. According to the actress, she did not like the atmosphere that prevailed at the auditions. Therefore, Trofimova has only eight roles in the films.
The personal life of the artist was also difficult. She gave birth to her only child at the age of 33, but his father did not take part in raising the boy.
Today, 59-year-old Trofimova is alone. She is no longer that beautiful Milochka from the Soviet film – the actress has acquired overweight and a double chin, and now she looks more like an ordinary aunt. Today, Vera can be seen on various talk shows where she talks about her life.
