Mikhail Kononov and Natalia Bogunova In 1973, the premiere of the four-episode film “Big Break” directed by Alexei Korenev took place in the USSR. The process of creating this picture is an interesting story that deserves a separate discussion. In the meantime, 50 years after the release of the tape, we invite you to remember what happened to the stars of this Soviet melodrama.

Natalia Bogunova (Svetlana Afanasievna)

The blond beauty, the wife of the director Alexander Stefanovich, the actress Natalia Bogunova, was in great demand and could count on a luxurious life. However, the disease interfered with the plans of the screen star. According to colleagues, the actress was no longer invited to the cinema due to her spoiled character. In fact, Bogunova had schizophrenia. The personal life of the star of the “Big Change” also did not work out. They broke up with Stefanovich, the director later married Alla Pugacheva herself.

Natalia, in the end, was accused of her own lonely and childless life by her mother, who allegedly at one time did not dissuade her daughter from abortions and did not teach her mind. By the way, a big scandal is connected with the parent of Bogunova. In 2011, she fell out of the window, and many acquaintances began to blame Natalia for this. After all, everyone knew what was going on in their family. Be that as it may, in 2013 Svetlana Afanasievna from the Big Change went to the island of Crete, where she died as a result of a heart attack at the age of 65.

Mikhail Kononov (Nestor Petrovich)

No less tragic was the fate of the lead actor in The Big Change. Kononov was in great demand, but in the 90s, when crime series began to gain popularity, he refused roles, believing that all this was far from art. As a result, the directors simply stopped inviting Mikhail Ivanovich. He barely made ends meet. Being in oblivion, the artist even began to sell cabbage.

With the personal life of the actor, everything was also difficult. Kononov’s mother did not accept his bride Natalya, so after the wedding, scandals in the star family became commonplace. And then the parent of Mikhail Ivanovich committed suicide on her own birthday. After this tragic incident, Kononov’s character deteriorated. They never had children with their wife. But at the end of his life, Mikhail Ivanovich warmed up the 18-year-old girl Rita, who became him instead of his daughter – as it turned out later, a fraudster who practically took away the star apartment. Nestor Petrovich from the “Big Change” was dying in poverty, forgotten by everyone. “Not a single dog remembered!” Kononov complained to Express Gazeta shortly before his death.
