Margaret Spada is the name of the 22-year-old young woman, originally from Lentini in the province of Syracuse, who lost her life before a rhinoplasty Roma. What happened
Margaret would have died immediately after the administration of local anesthesia in an outpatient clinic of an aesthetic medical center in Rome, where she had gone for a common rhinoplasty after finding the doctor on TikTok. The young woman had come specifically from Lentini to Rome to undergo the operation. Now the family’s lawyer has declared that only an autopsy will be able to clarify the true causes of death.
«The family of Margaret Spada it is closed in a profound silence. In this moment of pain he maintains maximum confidentiality. The autopsy will clarify the causes that caused the young woman’s death” explains the Spada family’s lawyer Alessandro Vinci, according to Siracusa News.
The family’s lawyer will travel to Rome to be heard at the Prosecutor’s Office. According to information, Margaret died shortly before the operation, immediately after the administration of local anesthesia in an outpatient clinic of the aesthetic medical center chosen for the procedure. Despite being immediately transferred to hospital, all attempts to resuscitate her proved futile.
The documentation and drugs used for local anesthesia were immediately seized and investigations began immediately in the clinic. Meanwhile, the Prosecutor’s Office has ordered an autopsy and has started an investigation under the hypothesis of a crime manslaughter.
The risks of local anesthesia are usually limited, they are drugs with a high degree of safety, which rarely cause serious health problems, as reported on the dedicated page of the ISS website. Their side effects are often mild and completely transient. More serious disorders such as allergic reactions, convulsions or cardiac arrest, however, are very rare.

Margaret was the daughter of Giuseppe Spada, well-known in the country and honorary president and manager of Sicula Leonzio, whose Facebook page published a message of condolence for the premature death of his daughter.
