The traffic police of Minsk analyzed the state of accidents involving minors. It turned out that the peak of children’s road traffic injuries falls on the age category of 8-12 years.

So, in January-July 2023, 41 accidents were registered in Minsk, in which 43 children were injured, of which 23 minors were injured while crossing the roadway, nine were in a car as passengers, one was driving a car, ten were riding a bicycle and one drove the vehicle.

According to the State traffic inspectorate, in 68.2% of cases of accidents occurred due to the fault of adults. Another 13 children suffered due to their indiscretion.
