The children’s clinic is funded by the Free State of Bavaria and implemented within four years. In addition to a high level of medical technology, the new building should be designed as child-friendly as possible and meet the special needs of young patients and their parents. The Nuremberg Clinic cannot raise the additional financial resources required for this on its own. With the donation of 5,000 euros, the traditional team and Nürnberger Versicherung are helping to equip play areas and quiet areas as needed.

Help prevent COVID19 infections in Mozambique
since In 2002 there is a close connection between the Martha Maria Foundation and the Christian rural hospital Chicuque in Mozambique. In addition to the financial support, the cooperation approach includes short assignments and observation sessions for employees of both institutions. The current focus of the collaboration is on improving hygiene measures in and around the hospital. This includes protective equipment and masks for medical staff, patients and visitors, hand washing stations and disinfection tunnels. A radio network is to be set up shortly, through which preventive health work will be carried out under the leadership of the director of Chicuque Hospital. The Martha Maria Foundation has agreed to help and can use the donation of 5,000 euros very well.
