This Thursday, May 12, Usep organized the emblematic Charpal raid with the schools of Montrodat, Saint-Chély-d’Apcher, Michel Del Castillo and the Jean-Bonijol de Mende school group. One hundred and sixty-nine cycle 3 students set off around Lake Charpal to experience an intense and magical day.
The weather was there to enhance this sporting and associative moment. The students were in teams for group cohesion. One team set off on foot from the dam to follow the north path of the lake, while another team went on mountain bikes on the south path. The tour of the lake was punctuated by eight workshops (linked feet and pedals, Charpal does his circus, trial, timed mountain biking quiz, Lot lake launch, biathlon, the lake herbarium, Pokémon GO). These workshops were designed, set up and run by 3rd year undergraduate students in education sciences from the Faculty of Education of Mende, as part of their work. Sports, environmental education, dexterity and reflection activities delighted the children as well as the many adults present for supervision and safety. At the reception, a workshop on bus safety was offered. All the students left with a Raid Charpal 2022 diploma and a medal for their participation.
