The stages of this life cycle are all targets that drug candidates can target. None have yet demonstrated clinical efficacy against Covid-19. But different molecules already tested (without success) against the viruses responsible for the Sars and the Seas “Are potential candidates”, say the authors of a literature review published in mid-April in the Jama.
