Following the example of the corolla, which received a similar update with better screens at the beginning of June, Toyota is also updating its on-board equipment in the RAV4. The changes will concern cars manufactured from the 3rd quarter of 2022, so in American terminology it is the model year 2023.

A significant novelty is the 10.25-inch center display with a higher resolution and a new system, which is permanently connected to online functions, including navigation stored in the “cloud”. Apple Carplay is now integrated wirelessly. The voice assistant has been improved and some functions can be controlled remotely via a mobile phone.

The new digital panel in the chapel uses a 12.3-inch TFT display with four styles and three display layouts.

Depending on the situation, the driver can select the most relevant information, such as digital speedometer and digital circular indicators or other information, including the eco driving indicator, information about the tracks being played or adaptive cruise control display.
