The Japanese brand presents a new version of its popular SUV RAV4. Sales will start this year.

The current Active, Comfort, Selection and Executive equipment levels will soon complement the Adventure version. In the case of the “ravka”, this relies on a more pronounced and robust style, which underlines that the car will not get lost even off paved roads.
We can notice the newly conceived black masks. The logo moved from the leading edge of the hood to the center. And the new face is also evidenced by the incorporation of the front fog lights into the new black frames, as well as the new extension under the bumper with a shiny silver finish. However, the list of innovations does not end there, it includes, for example, new 19 “cast wheels or a unique two-color coating in combination with green Urban Khaki with gray details.

The interior itself was not forgotten either. The RAV4 Adventure has a specific seat upholstery design using smooth black leatherette and deep stitching of the backrests and seats with contrasting orange seams. The more adventurous version of the SUV is also equipped with sill rails.

In addition to the above, the novelty also brings elements of modernization prepared for the standard “ravka” in the model year 2022. We are mainly talking about new LED projector headlights as well as diode front fog lamps. The new LED lighting can also be found in the cab, where the seat can now be adjusted electrically by the passenger. The upgrades also include a newer type of USB-C port. We do not yet know whether it complements or completely replaces the older solution.

What has not changed is the technique of the car. The Adventure version comes exclusively with a hybrid, which consists of an atmospheric 2.5-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors. The system power is 163 kW and the drive system is combined exclusively with the automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. “Ravka” can handle towed trailers weighing up to 1650 kg.
In the European markets, the RAV4 Adventure, together with the modernized model line, will go on sale during October this year. The first cars will appear on Czech roads in the introductory quarter of 2022.
