Joining the Toyota Professional family is the all-new Proace Max, which together with the updated Proace and Proace City models offers the widest selection and best cargo carrying options on the market. On the other hand, a new electrified version – Hybrid 48V – has been created for the unbeatable Toyota pickup truck Hilux.
In line with Toyota’s diverse path to carbon neutrality, all vehicles in the Proace family are offered as battery electric vehicles (BEVs) that maintain practicality and reliability without local emissions.
The interior features a redesigned steering wheel and more advanced equipment (depending on trim level and model), including fully digital instrument displays and a modern infotainment system with built-in navigation, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which can be used wirelessly.
Toyota Proace Max for the toughest tasks
Proace Max, the largest commercial vehicle model in the Toyota Professional family, is available in six configurations: three length and three height versions, thus opening up the widest range of cargo transportation options. The largest version of the Proace Max has a best-in-class cargo capacity of 17 m³.
The latest battery technology combines emission-free driving comfort with pleasant practicality, as the mileage reserve is up to 420 km (WTLP).
Proace Max is also a leader in terms of transformation. It is available as a tipper, as a cargo platform and also as a Crew Cab with a double cab and two rows of seats.
With Proace and Proace City – more practicality
The versatile Proace and Proace City models have received a modernized, eye-catching design and are equipped with the latest technology in both the van and passenger versions of the Proace Verso and Proace City Verso.
The Proace van has best-in-class power units and a battery that has increased the range of the electric version by 20 km to 350 km. The Proace also has cargo-carrying capabilities to match the performance, defined by a capacity of up to 6.6 m³ and a best-in-class payload of up to 1,400 kg. On the other hand, the Proace Verso configuration has comfortable seats for up to nine passengers.
The practical Proace City has excellent abilities to transport both cargo and passengers. The van skilfully uses all the available space to allocate 4.4 m³ for cargo, while the load capacity, depending on the power unit, is up to 1000 kg.
Second-generation electric car batteries also provide the best mileage reserve in the class. Now it is up to 330 km (WLTP), which is 50 km more than before. All versions of the Proace City have up to three front seats, while even more passengers can be carried in the seven-seat Proace City Verso.
The Hilux 48V Hybrid powers the unstoppable icon
The new Hilux Hybrid 48V has also joined the Toyota Professional model family, which benefits from better fuel economy and higher performance. Along with the Hilux’s legendary durability and reliability, the Hilux Hybrid 48V has improved throttle response and linear acceleration for smoother acceleration over rough terrain, as well as regenerative braking when driving downhill.
Improvements in drivability have not affected either the towing capacity or the load capacity – these indicators are still excellent and can reach 3500 and 1000 kg respectively.
All Toyota Professional cars are equipped with Toyota Safety Sense technologies, which help the driver and create an additional sense of safety.
